Byala
Byala is a town in the central part of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, 55 km south of Varna and 65 km north of Burgas. An international road connecting Byala with Varna and Burgas borders the town. The sea resorts of Sunny Beach and Nessebar are 35 km south of the city, and in 60-80 km north of it lie the resorts Golden Sands, St. Constantine and Elena, Riviera and other wonderful destinations in Bulgaria.
Byala is a center of viticulture and tourism with traditions in both having originated in the distant past. Grapes, wine and fresh sea fish have attracted visitors to Byala from antiquity to present day. There are large vineyards growing near the town. Tourism is the other major industry furthering the development of Byala. A solid base for leisure and entertainment has been created which is now developing very quickly.
Fresh fruits, seafood and local wine will give an unforgettable experience to both the ordinary tourists as well as the most demanding guests. The long beaches of Byala offer windsurfing and water skiing, sailing, and underwater excursions. Fans of walks will appreciate the nearby nature reserve White rocks with its fossils of land and sea species that lived here 65 million years ago.
There is also a local wine cellar in the town which is open for visitors.
The investment interest in Byala in recent years is very large. Mainly modern residential complexes, hotels and villas are being built. Many international companies are investing in different projects - hotels, marina, golf course, residential apartment buildings, villas, restaurants and cafes.
