Pleven

The city of Pleven is the seventh largest in Bulgaria and the third largest in northern Bulgaria, after Varna and Rousse. It is the administrative and economic center of the Pleven Province and the Municipality of Pleven. The city's population is 96,610 as of the end of 2018.

The town is located 170 km from the capital Sofia, 320 km from the Black Sea coast, 30 km from the Danube river, 130 km from the Danube Bridge and about 70 km from the Balkan Mountains.
